2023 Achievement Scholarship Application

National Youth Week is proud to announce that applications are now open for our 2023 Achievement Scholarship. Winners will be announced during National Youth Week 2023 (happening next June from the 13th-19th!).

Funded by proceeds from Achieve Alkaline Water (a product of NYWUSA) and other donations, this scholarship will benefit ten (10) students with a one-time stipend of $500.00, which can be used to cover costs associated with tuition, books, computers, room and board, or other education-related expenses.

“State your CASE” is a program sponsored by OMI, focused on identifying and tackling issues that plague our youth as it pertains to Conflict, Anger, and Self-Esteem (CASE). Positive interventions in these areas will propel our youth to excellence and prepare the youth to lead tomorrow. This scholarship challenges you to speak out about Conflict, Anger, and Self-Esteem.

1 Week Until NYW Conference! – A Message from Our CEO

We have one week left until the start of our National Youth Week Conference! ??

Are you signed up yet? If not, be sure to fill out our registration form here and invite your friends and family to join!

To celebrate, here’s a special message from our CEO:

Hello Community Partners and Friends of OMI:

Since the beginning of the pandemic, youth have faced violence, depression, and drug use and abuse at unprecedented levels. OMI has been at the forefront of creating solutions to help youth overcome these obstacles through our school and community-based program, CASE, which provides teens with conflict resolution skills, and our signature event, National Youth Week, a week set aside seven years ago to empower youth for their purpose.

I am contacting you to extend a personal invitation for your youth to join us for our three-day conference sponsored by the Dallas Public Library from June 16-19 2022. Teens will be treated to lectures and hands-on experiences in technology, teamwork, community service, and achievement that will be conducted by preeminent experts in their field. We are hosting this free community event as an outreach effort to address the issues facing our teens and bring community programs together.

Attendees will receive lunch, giveaways, and opportunities to serve. I would be grateful for an opportunity to speak with you personally about this complimentary community event and hope that you are able to register your youth to attend. Thank you for your time and I look forward to speaking with you soon.

All the best,

Lori Hoff

Founder and CEO of OMI
